Attention: Kane County Dealers - The Kane County Board has passed a gasoline tax increase of $0.02 effective April 1, 2007. This increase brings the total County tax to $0.04 per gallon.
All dealers - Texor needs a certificate of liability insurance on file that names both Texor and the Brand (i.e. Citgo Petroleum Company) as additional insured. Any monies due to dealers will not be paid until we have current certificates on file.
Bio-Diesel customers - If you notice that your pumps are running a little slower you may need to change your filters. The bio portion will act as a cleaning agent and will move particulate from your tank bottoms into your filters.
Citgo has announced that if you are "Gold Certified" on all 3 mystery shops in 2007 you will become a member of the elite "Platinum Club". This means your mystery shops and POP materials are free of charge and you will also be entered into a drawing for a 2008 platinum Cadillac Escalade. This should be plenty to get you motivated to score "Gold" in your mystery shops.
ExxonMobil is once again awarding its Educational Alliance Grants. There are 4,000 - $500 grants available on a first come first serve basis. Each dealer is eligible to apply for one grant per station and they are awarded on a first come, first serve basis. If you have a school that would like to apply for a grant, please contact your Texor representative to get you an application. This should be done soon as these grants are very popular and will not last long. Applications are available on March 1, 2007.
You should be receiving your new pump door skins and gasoline price sign product panels highlighting the STP additives that are currently in Marathon’s gasoline. Please install all of the materials ASAP. While you are doing this please take a few minutes and clean your pumps and pick up any trash. Remember, a clean bight look attracts new business!
